SHOCKING!!! Lightning Strike Kills 19 Cows In Osun State (Photo)

No fewer than 19 cows belonging to Fulani cattle rearers were on Saturday killed by lightning bolts in Iba, headquarters of Ifelodun Area Office of Osun State.
The cows were reportedly struck to death at Apala farm in the outskirt of the town.
The traditional ruler of the town, Oba Adekunle Okunoye, confirming the development, said the cows belonged to the Fulani settlers living in the town.
“The people of Iba have over the years been living harmoniously with Fulani natives living in our domain and this will not cause any disaffection,” he sad.
“The death of the cows belonging to the Fulani cattle rearers living among us was a natural occurrence occasioned by [lightning] that struck in the town. The community, with the collaboration of the leadership of the Fulani community, are on top of the situation.
“The Eburu in Council has directed the owners of the cows to burn them to avoid epidemic in the town.
“The community is in peace and the people live peacefully with all non-indigenes, including the Fulanis,” he added.
The head of the Fulani community in Iba, Mr Jimoh Bala, agreed that the incident was a natural occurrence which will not affect the peace of the town.
He said that the people of the town are accomodating and ruled out the possibility of any attack on their cows by their hosts.

INSIDE JOB!! Bank Staff Caught On Camera Stealing From Vault Before Armed Robbery Attack

The Commissioner of Police in Ekiti State, Asuquo Amba, has revealed how a staff of the bank that was robbed on Thursday in Ekiti State, looted the vault before the attack.
According to the CP, the CCTV footage from the bank robbery incident showed the staff taking money from the vault a few minutes before the robbers arrived.
Recall that a policeman and a girl were shot dead on Thursday when armed robbers attacked a bank in Oye-Ekiti Local Government Area of the state.
Addressing newsmen on the incident on Friday, Amba said there seems to be connivance between the robbers and insiders in the bank.
He said that the heavily armed men attacked the police station in the town first before heading to the bank where they made away with over N25 million.
The Police Commissioner said,
“The IGP has directed that there must be a very thorough investigation and that this mode of operation must be brought to fore.
“What baffles me is that there was nexus between the robbers and insiders in the banking premises. The Oye Police Division is about one or two poles from here. It was the first point of attack.
“The bankers confirmed that they heard the shots and it took about 10 minutes before the robbers arrived at the bank from there.
“Within the period, there were some activities that went on inside the bank. It is either there was strict connivance, or that the bank officials took advantage to carry out their own intention which an investigation would prove.
“Between the time the robbers attacked our men and the time the robbery took place, the staff had enough time to escape through the exit door. They were captured by CCTV moving in and out of the vault. The vault was even opened before the robbers came.
“Despite the opportunity, none of them made efforts to escape, they were stuffing money and there is evidence to prove this.
“The staff opened the vault by 3.05 p.m. and the robbers blew up the security door at 3.12 p.m., this gave a strong suspicion that there was internal collaboration in this matter.
“The carton was hidden under the table within the banking hall. This should be part of the loots from the strong room.”
